Web Design

Ark Wellness Hub is a Health Clinic for the LGBTQIA+ community in Kampala, Uganda.

AWH specializes in sexual and mental health services for marginalized groups within the LGBTQIA+ community. During our sessions, I provided consultation to AWH regarding their website design.

In the initial meeting, I took the time to understand AWH's mission and reviewed its goals, objectives, and mood board. This allowed me to gain insight into their vision and tailor the design process accordingly.

After the meeting, I conducted a thorough competitive analysis to identify industry best practices and gain inspiration for the website design. Using the information gathered, I sketched out several design ideas that aligned with AWH's specific needs and objectives.

During the second consultation, we engaged in an ideation session where I presented the sketches. The team at AWH provided valuable feedback, and we collaborated to refine and finalize design choices that would effectively serve their purpose. This collaborative approach ensured that the website design was tailored to their unique requirements.

To further facilitate the development process, I created and annotated the low-fi wireframes, providing clear instructions and guidance for the AWH team to proceed with the next steps. This allowed for seamless collaboration and communicated the design vision effectively.
